SOL-0090 is an additive used specifically for increasing the open time of water-borne coatings. In hot weather or adverse conditions (such as areas of high heat or air flow), it will improve flow and leveling properties in water-borne coatings, and increase the open time and workability of wiping stains and glazes. 

During winter months, particularly in conditions with dry heat and accelerated drying, SOL-0090 is recommended for use with Gemini water-borne coating systems to support process balance and maintain a controlled application environment.
