Gemini Asteria Acid Catalyst CAT10-0700 is the activator for the Asteria Conversion Varnish system, including AFCVRS-02XX clears, ASTW-10XX whites, ACVP-8000 primer surfacer, and ASTS-0300 CV sealer. This 11.6 oz pre-measured bottle is sized to dose one short-filled gallon of Asteria, eliminating measurement errors at the point of use.
Mix at the ratio specified on the Asteria topcoat or sealer's Technical Data Sheet—typically 10–11% by volume depending on the product. DO NOT add more than the recommended catalyst amount; over-catalyzing will not speed cure or improve hardness, and may cause cracking, haziness, gloss issues, or finished-film failures.
