The Springfield Plate is 6 in. x 8 in. x 1/4 in. thick. It has a welded ring that encompasses the top or base of a 3-1/2 in. or 4 in. column. There are 7/16 in. diameter holes around the welded ring that allow screws to secure the plate to the beam.
